The exhibition ‚Reference – In context to Mies van der Rohe‘ is dedicated to a contemporary generation of artists reception of Mies van der Rohe’s oeuvre, including Joachim Brohm, Koenraad Dedobbeleer and Johannes Wohnseifer. Furthermore by lectures and discussions the possibilities and challenges of architecture in the context to its commemorative culture and functionality will be put under consideration. At the same time the exhibition ‚Mies van der Rohe. The MoMA Collages‘ is shown at the Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst, hence presenting for the first time a vast convolute of the collages and photomontages of the renowned architect on a large scale from the 28th of October 2016 until the 12th of February 2017.
