Witness to the (digital) world is a publication by the artist duo Fleckstein/Dworczyk, which is released on the occasion of their exhibition of the same name at the NAK Neuer Aachener Kunstverein in 2021 in the exhibition series Young Art Euregio in cooperation with STAWAG. The catalogue includes an introductory text by Peggy Schoenegge, an insight into the artists’ work, and documentation of the exhibition.

Witness to the (digital) world addresses today’s digital communication and its impact on our daily lives from the perspective of the media artists. Through their works, which encompass various media such as video, video performance, photography and installation, Fleckstein/Dworczyk address the effects of the digital on society, identity and perception. Therefore, the publication not only provides insight into the exhibition but also into the artists’ thinking and working processes.
