VERNISSAGE //

NAK Neuer Aachener Kunstverein opens the exhibition for the Benefit Auction 2024 on 30 November at 7 pm.

NAK Neuer Aachener Kunstverein cordially invites you to this year’s digital benefit auction under the patronage of Prof. Henrik Hanstein (Kunsthaus Lempertz, Cologne) and on behalf of the participating artists.

ONLINE AUCTION //

Online at: www.neueraachenerkunstverein.auction

Week 1: December 02 to 08, 2024
Week 2: December 09 to 15, 2024
Week 3: December 16 to 22, 2024

The online auction will be held in three weekly blocks, in the period between December 2 and December 22, 2024. The items to be auctioned will be distributed equally over these three weeks.

INFORMATION //

To participate in the auction and place bids, please register in advance on the auction website under ‘Registration’ and then confirm your registration by clicking on the link in your confirmation email. Any accounts already created in previous years may have to be recreated by the bidders, as the old accounts will be deleted from the system after a period of inactivity.

On each Sunday evening, the works offered in the auction will run with a time delay and the highest bid will be accepted. After placing a bid, you will be informed by e-mail, as well as if you have been outbid and, of course, in the event of a successful bid. If a bid is placed on a work in the last 5 minutes, its duration is automatically extended once by a further 3 minutes. During this time, any number of new bids can be placed, but the running time will not be extended. It is advisable to repeatedly reload the website during this time, i.e. to refresh the browser, in order to keep an eye on all bidding steps, as the currently leading bid is not updated automatically.

After successfully bidding on a work, you will promptly receive an invoice for the purchase; immediate payment via the auction site used by NAK is deactivated and therefore not possible. So please wait for the invoice. After payment (bank transfer or payment on site) we will send the work or it can be collected from NAK by prior arrangement.

If you have any questions about the auction, the works or the artists, please contact NAK. If you have problems registering on the auction website or have any other questions about the procedure, please also contact NAK in advance by phone or e-mail. We will be happy to help you.

PREVIEW //

All works by the participating artists will be presented in detail in advance on NAK’s Instagram and Facebook pages. The preview will be updated on an ongoing basis.
