NAK Digital Benefit Auction 2020

NAK Neuer Aachener Kunstverein cordially invites you to this year’s Digital Benefit Auction in December 2020 under the patronage of Prof. Henrik Hanstein (Kunsthaus Lempertz, Cologne). You will find the auction at neueraachenerkunstverein.auction.

This year the auction will not take place on site, but for the first time completely digital. In three weekly blocks, we will put the works to be auctioned online, from Monday to Sunday. On Sunday evening, the works on offer will end with a time delay; the highest bid will then be accepted. The first auction week begins on November 30th, the last auction will end on December 20th, 2020. To participate in the auction and place bids, please register on this page in advance. You will be informed by email in case you are outbid and also in case you are knocked down on Sunday evening. If a bid is placed on an artwork in the last 5 minutes, its duration is automatically extended once by another 3 minutes. After a successful auction of a work you will receive an invoice from us for the purchase. After payment (bank transfer, card or cash payment on site) we send the work or it can be picked up at the NAK by arrangement.

Block 1: 30th of November – 06th of December
Block 2: 07th of December – 13th of December
Block 3: 14th of December – 20th of December

The exhibition presentation of the works on site will not be open to the public this year due to a pandemic. Instead, digital formats such as video tours will bring the exhibits and participating artists closer to those interested; we are also already presenting all works via Instagram and Facebook.
