This year, NAK Neuer Aachener Kunstverein is once more holding its annual charity auction completely digitally under the patronage of Prof. Henrik Hanstein (Kunsthaus Lempertz, Cologne) and on behalf of the participating artists.

Auction

Block 1: December 06th to December 12th, 2021
Block 2: December 13th to December 19th, 2021
Block 3: December 20th to December 26th, 2021

In three weekly blocks, we post the works to be auctioned online, each Monday through Sunday. On Sunday evening, the works on offer will run on a time-delayed basis, with the highest bid then winning the auction. The first auction week will start on December 06, and the last auction will end on December 26th, 2021. To participate in the auction and place bids, please register in advance on the auction website neueraachenerkunstverein.auction and then confirm your registration by clicking on the link in your confirmation email. You will be informed by email if you are outbid and also in case of a winning bid on Sunday evening. If a bid is placed on a work in the last 5 minutes, its duration will be automatically extended once for another 3 minutes. After successful bidding on a work, please wait, you will promptly receive an invoice from us for the purchase. After payment we will send the work or it can be picked up at NAK by appointment.

The works will be auctioned from December 06th to December 26th, 2021. Digital formats such as video tours will also bring the exhibits and participating artists closer to interested parties via Facebook and Instagram; likewise, we will feature all works via Instagram and Facebook.

Exhibition

Furthermore, we will present all works to be auctioned in an exhibition on site at the Kunstverein. The exhibition will open on December 11th, 2021 from 5 pm-2 pm at the NAK. The works can be viewed at the Kunstverein daily from 2 pm to 8 pm until December 19th. Admission to the exhibition as well as the opening can only take place against 2G proof, i.e. participants must be vaccinated or recovered. Attention: We will inform you about any change of the procedure on the NAK homepage as well as on our social media.
