NAK Neuer Aachener Kunstverein opens the exhibition for the Benefit Auction 2023 on December 9 at 7 pm.

This year, NAK is holding its annual benefit auction digitally under the patronage of Prof. Henrik Hanstein (Kunsthaus Lempertz, Cologne) and on behalf of the participating artists.

ONLINE AUCTION //

Week 1: December 04 to 10, 2023
Week 2: December 11 to 17, 2023
Week 3: December 18 to 21, 2023

The online auction will begin on Monday, December 4 and end on Thursday, December 21, 2023. The auction will be held in three weekly blocks, with the items to be auctioned evenly distributed across these blocks. Please note: the last week is shortened and ends on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

 

INFORMATION //

To take part in the auction and place bids, please register in advance on the auction website and then confirm your registration by clicking on the link in your confirmation email.

On late Sunday or Thursday afternoon or evening, the works on offer will run with a time delay and the highest bid will be accepted. If a bid is placed on a work in the last 5 minutes, its duration is automatically extended once by a further 3 minutes. During this time, any number of new bids can be placed, but the duration will not be extended. You will be informed by e-mail if you are outbid and also in the event of a knockdown on Sunday evening.

After successfully bidding on a work, you will receive an invoice from us for the purchase; payment via the auction site used by the NAK is deactivated and therefore not possible. After payment (bank transfer or payment on site) we will send the work or it can be collected from the NAK by prior arrangement.

If you have problems registering on the auction website or have any other questions, please contact the NAK in advance by phone or email. Any existing accounts from previous years may have to be recreated by the bidders, as the old accounts will be deleted after a period of inactivity.

PREVIEW //

There will be previews of all works via NAK’s Instagram and Facebook sites.

EXHIBITION //

All works to be auctioned will be presented in an exhibition on site at the Kunstverein. The exhibition opens on December 9, 2023 from 7 to 10 p.m. at NAK. The works can be viewed at the Kunstverein daily from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. until December 17.

GUIDED TOURS //

Monday to Thursday, i.e. from December 11 to 14, guided tours through the exhibition will bring the individual works closer to the interested public. The tours start at 7 pm.
